I heard Alviso was nice because it's flat and has wide trails. Both are true, but it also had a stagnant water stench and zero shade.
We plastered on some sunscreen and went for it.
There wasn't much for them to explore, so we got to a good breaking point to have a snack and let the kids throw rocks in the water.
It wasn't a super hot day, but the constant direct sun on us made it feel worse than it was.
We walked back instead of doing the big loop, which I think would be good with bikes.
Jane had a bottle and a pouch of baby food, so she was happy.
Little dirt bum.
We were able to see the beauty in the area and it's always good to get out and have some exercise and family time, but this "hike" is not a repeater for us.
