Sanborn Hike

We went back to Sanborn to try the hiking trail.
It was a lot of uphill, but there was this wall at the top that the kids had fun trying to run up.
Then we got to the water part and it was perfect.
They loved climbing rocks and walking across logs and along the creek.
Perry sometimes goes up, then realizes he's scared and needs help continuing or coming back down.
Jane was in her element. She likes being outside.
Scott likes running on trails, but he really, really likes exploring along water and climbing rocks. It reminds me of Oregon and made me wish we could go back there.
They might have kept going up the water forever, but we eventually turned back and walked down the trail to the car.
During a bathroom break, I plopped Jane in the grass. She didn't want to touch it and didn't move.
She warmed up to the flowers a bit.
This was the boys' favorite hike so far and we loved how easy it was to move them along. They're excited to go back again, which is a first so far.
