February

Running to get Scott from school.
Pouting after his tubby.
Decorating the window for Valentine's Day.
Helping mow the lawn.
Taking a gentlemanly nap on the way home from church.
I got a Devacurl haircut and took a picture of my hair after church. This was the third day since washing it.
Wiping the blinds for some extra screen time minutes.
Perry helpfully lining up all the water bottles on the counter.
BB8 tattling on Jonah (Kylo Ren).
Jonah so happy to get a new hamper. He gets excited over the littlest things, he's so easy to please.
Entertaining themselves while waiting for Scott to get out of class.
After school, Scott wanted to see if Grandma was home. More like wanted to watch Octonauts.
Jonah reading Perry's favorite book to him, Dance, Dance Baby! I think we all have it memorized.
We took Perry to Build a Bear to use his gift card.
Jonah helped do everything. I wanted to get him a minion, but they didn't have them any more so we went with Star Wars.
After my 10k I had snacks in the shade with Perry while Scott did the fun run.
It was really short for him. Next time I might just do the 5k and bring him with me.
His church pants come off at the first opportunity.
We went to Scott's "favorite person" presentation at kindergarten, which he did on Perry.
His 100th day of school party included a picture of him as a 100-year-old.
We went to a tball meeting and got their uniforms. I complained to the little league president and got them changed, so this was their only time wearing them.
Perry running to the car after preschool drop-off with his hands in his pockets. He kept his hands in there the whole way in and back.
Perry was waking up at night and wanting us in his room, so we tried putting him in with his brothers. It was a tight fit, but we could just barely squeeze all three mattresses across.
Scott gave Perry a lollipop from his school Valentines "because they're his favorite" and Perry gave him a grateful hug.
Chilling in John's spot. "Nigh nigh, love you" he says, then laughs and laughs.
A birthday treat after school. He wanted to show me the cupcake before eating it.
Meanwhile, his brothers were sleeping in the van. I told him to eat it quickly before they woke up.
Perry fights me on getting church clothes on every Sunday. After finally getting him dressed, he put on Lightning McQueen crocs that are a size too big. I decided to wait for that battle until we got to church so John would be there to help.
I made muffins to pass out while I gave the lesson and apparently Perry can reach the edge of the kitchen counter.
We spent President's day working on Karen and Alan's landscaping so they could get their house on the market that week. Karen watched the grandkids while we worked.
John installed my new light and it's not bright at all, but we still love it. There are very few things in our home that I'd bring with us in a move and this is definitely one of them. Ideally it'll go in a library one day. And we'll have recessed lights to supplement the room eventually.
We watched my friend's kids and Perry loves playing with Max (he pronounces it Maa.)
Waiting patiently while his brothers rode a ride a Happy Hollow that he's too short to go on.
Jonah is tall enough to ride solo on the roller coaster, so he and Scott went together.
Jonah hanging out in a bin and making solar system jokes, like "Pennsylvania is the hottest planet!"
I dug through Perry's bed with blankets and stuffed animals he'd pulled down, but couldn't find him. He just loves to be close to someone while he sleeps.
I went around to a bunch of libraries like a crazy person to get tickets for some friends (who work during the day, the only time the box office is available) and us to go to Disney on Ice. The kids were allllll free.
Perry was a little squirmy, so he snacked his way through the show, but the big boys loved it.
John coaching at a tball practice. The boys are pretty terrible, but they love it. We're excited to see if they improve throughout the season. It's so entertaining to watch them play.
Perry chowing down at cookie day.
It doesn't really matter what toys they have or how many, they can play with anything. Such a weird collection and display.
I found a Buzz jacket for Scott's birthday and he loves to match Perry.
We stop on the way to and from school to say hi to this kitty every day. Hopefully filling their pet fix for the time being.

Scott is Six!

Scott had lots of celebrating with lots of his favorite things. First we went to Chipotle for lunch with my mom and sister. He picked brownies, which I used my Theo baking bar on and they were amazing.
Trying to keep the flame alive while we sang to him.

Then on his actual birthday we had quiche with John's parents and he picked a donut for dessert.
We passed out oatmeal cookies after school, so three desserts altogether and no cake.
They gave him a new, teal bicycle.
He had a hurt knee, so we postponed his party, but eventually we went to Pump It Up. He invited his best friend, Olivia, and his brothers. She likes to joke and call him Scoott.
The big kids had a blast. They ran around and got nice and sweaty. They played until the last second of the session.
Perry was just barely too short to get to play.
While the kids were in the other room, I let him climb around in the smaller area, though.
Scott made it across the obstacle course. Jonah was a little short for the last jump. They definitely got their money's worth and Jonah's already talking about going for his birthday.
At his six-year checkup, Scott was 46.25 inches and 47.75 pounds.
These are some of his favorites:
Food: still quiche (although homemade mac and cheese is a close second)
Color: always teal
Song: Star Wars
Church song: Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam
Animal: Emperor penguin
When he grows up he wants to b: a Disneyland cast member (Cars Racers seat belt checker)
Favorite things to do: LEGOS, ride his bike, read books, play Star Wars wii, watch Clone Wars, watch Daddy play Zelda on Nintendo Switch, go to Disneyland, Chick-fil-a, and Chipotle
