March

Perry decided it was time to potty train. Really, to not wear diapers. He spent some quality time on his potty practicing.
T-ball season! I complained to the little league president and they switched Chief Wahoo to the Red Sox.
Sunday night sunset in Santa Cruz.

We all loved this and want to make it a family tradition.
Jonah found "snow grass" on our lawn when we walked to school one morning.
Perry chose jeans and voluntarily rode in the stroller to school. It was like being in a twilight zone.
He came out of the stroller to see kitty cat, of course.
Scott's drawing for Dr. Seuss day.
Jonah's third eye. These Trader Joe's stickers are so bizarre.
The highlight of their morning walk.
It only takes a little bit of chocolate to cover every inch of Perry's skin.
We went to use up our Toys R Us gift card and planned to get Perry a birthday gift. He picked out this shovel and bucket, so his brothers each got a Lego, too.
Perry is a bed hog.
He made a sandwich and wanted me to hold it while he cut it up, then he fed it to me.
We had a Perry-aged friend over one morning and they were so cute together.

Scott made a leprechaun trap for Kindergarten and found a chocolate coin and rainbow eraser in it the next morning.
He draws pictures on the back of his worksheets when he finishes early. I love them.
Jonah's turn for a play date. They took turns on this letter game that I don't think either of them understood.
My aunt sent the boys Star Wars sleeping bags. They used them on their beds for a few nights since they were so excited to try them.
Our friend sent us home with an edible St. Patrick's Day craft that we did after school.
Jonah wanted to take a rest and Perry saw the need to go snuggle him.
Walking to school in the rain.
I picked up a potty seat at Target and Perry did not want it. I eventually let him out of the cart because he was so upset. He took the seat out and ran it across the whole store to put it back.
I chaperoned Scott's field trip to the discovery museum.
We hit the exhibits that are geared more to older kids for a change.
He and his buddy, Tim, were great.

I went to drop off groceries for a friend and Perry conked out on their couch.
He stopped taking formal naps and now he just falls asleep whenever he can't manage to stay awake.
We pulled out John's old Star Wars Legos and put them together.
Remarkably, all the pieces were accounted for and the boys were thrilled to find them the next morning.
Perry mimicking our facial expressions.
A few minutes peace on a bright March day. I like to send them outside while I work on dinner.
Jonah was sick, so we had a pj and movie day.
Meanwhile, John and Perry were hard at work mowing the lawn.
Strawberry fingers
Every time we pass the neighbor's yard, Perry gives the astroturf a little pet. He used to lie down on it, so this is an improvement.
We waited for ages at the doctor's office for Perry and Scott's check-ups, so the medical assistant gave the boys juice.
Jonah said it's 100 (percent) juice, so he's going to need to go 100 peeps. He wasn't far off, I had to take them potty twice before we were finally seen. It was 75 minutes of waiting for 15 minutes of appointments. At least our 2-for-1 should've helped them get back on track a little that day. They've never been so behind for us before. I'm guessing because it's our first time going in the afternoon.
Charlotte came to visit and we went to Happy Hollow. These two little kids were tall enough to ride alone and were very brave about it.
The parking lot at school pick-up was a whole row of white cars.
Perry had a reaction to his vaccine. His poor arm was swollen, hot, and red for a few days.
Little stinker climbed in Jonah's bed and even used his blankets despite the heat.
Jonah was in our room to separate them until they fell asleep. Looking comfy as always.
Perry's bedhead on the walk to school.
Jonah's wasn't much better.
Stealing my eggs.
Scott's class "Spring celebration," ie Easter egg hunt.
His teacher wrote sight words on each egg that the kids had to read to us before putting them in their basket.
Scott reading to his brothers. I told him he could earn a minute of screen time for every book he read, and he took full advantage of the offer.
Coloring and activity sheets during conference.
Perry gave his baby lots of cars, "dis one, dis one, dis one."
Keeping us entertained during conference.
We all love when John's home!
