38 Weeks

We had our first fire of the season. Scott loved it.
A little too much.
He also found the bag of potatoes.
Busting out of his 12-month jams.
He figured out how to open cabinet doors.
He loves exploring. While loading this picture on the computer I found his missing rattle.
I love these Santa diapers.
John made Scott his own little nest.
He stayed in there for his afternoon snack.
We made buttermilk biscuits (recipe here, from Julie. Our oven cooks them in about 10 min, so be mindful) and chicken soaked in buttermilk.
Scott played with his football chew toy the whole time we ate.
Then he helped assemble Amanda's bike.
Too much movement causes his buttons to come undone around his chub. I think it's time to retire this shirt because he's bursting at the seams.
His absolute favorite thing right now is the shower. He crawls in it every chance he gets. (We really do clean the tile, it's just old and looks filthy no matter what.)
We went to our friend Lauren's pun party. I forgot to bring the camera, but we went as mixed greens, John  Deere
and a deviled egg.
We had a fun week and enjoyed lots of sleep now that Scott's 4th tooth broke through. Hallelujah.
