37 Weeks

Scott the mischief manager.
He loves pulling himself up and pushing the chairs.
We usually only have the tv on after Scott is in bed, but we watched a movie at lunch one day and Scott was so excited to hear and see something on the screen. Then I put him down for a nap. Bwahaha.
The highchair is one confinement that he enjoys.
He will eat until he explodes.
Scott went with us to vote.
He was climbing the walls that night waiting for the results.
And tasting them for good measure. (He was disappointed Roseanne didn't win)
He loves using these handholds John put in his climbing wall.
He can't quite reach the top ones yet, but it doesn't stop him from licking the drawer.
Scott was playing on the floor and I went to get the mail. I came back and he was working away.
He was pleased with himself.
He's heavy enough to register on the scale on his own. 22.9 pounds to love.
Climbing right out of his clothes.
Then coming over to say hello to his mother/camera.
After waking up at night and getting up at 6am, Scott wanted a really long nap. John cut it short at 3 1/2 hours hoping he'd save some sleep for that night. Unfortunately, he repeated the schedule 3 times and counting. We blame teething.
Scott being extremely helpful wrapping some presents with me.
We turned the heat on this week and received our first Christmas card, so it's officially Christmas season.
Scott loves everything about Christmas so far.
Someone backed into my car (while stopped) and crunched the bumper a little bit. Even though I told the insurance company the car seat wasn't affected at all, they require car seats be replaced after any accident, so they sent us a new one.
Scott explored it and found it acceptable. We're going to keep the old one anyway and just put it in John's car.
I added some rosemary to our regular bread recipe and it was amazing.
Scott really wanted to try it.
Like pulled-the-tablecloth-to-bring-it-close wanted to try it.
Also, those pajamas are 2t. Some brands run really tiny. At least that's what I tell myself.

  1. Scott is so ingenious and photogenic. Are you sure you don't want him to be a baby model? Also, it looks like his hair is coming in nicely--he'll be ready for his first haircut in no time!

  3. With all that wall climbing, maybe Scott's working on being the next "Spiderman!"
