8 Weeks

Scott had a great nap in his swing Monday. If he's asleep when we get home I use it and sometimes he stays  sleeping for a little while.
He is definitely awake more these days, though. He loves to see what is going on.
He's never minded baths, but I think he's starting to really enjoy them now.
He's very curious
and smiley.
It's easy to get him to smile and coo as long as he's in a good mood (ie not hungry).
Everyone says he looks just like John, but when he makes mouth bubbles and has his big eyes on I think he looks like me as a baby.
This is his "I'm not sleepy" face. A few minutes of rocking and he'll be out cold.
He's very snuggly, especially after his bath.
He's been learning how to play Zelda.
Male bonding time. With some kale as a snack.
We crashed John's department "meeting."
It was at a co-worker's new house and some of them hadn't met Scott yet.
He slept through most of the party, but loved being outside in the warm weather.
He loves his lamby mobile.
Really toys in general are starting to capture his interest.
He still plays hard and crashes hard.
Milk beard.
Love his smirk
Even though he hasn't been falling asleep until between 11 and 2 all week, he sleeps for nice, long stretches.
And you can't top that smile!

  1. I can definitely see a lot of you in Scott. He's a good mix of both of you. And he has a great smile!

  2. He really does look a lot like you in that picture. I love the tie onesie on him! And I love that little yellow striped romper. Baby clothes are so much fun. And that last smile is priceless!
