John was feeling left out on Pi day, so after church we whipped up a cherry cream pie. (This time with blueberries, because we didn't have any cherries on hand. We've also tried strawberries, which are delicious, but don't provide the same tart-sweet balance.) I know we favor cherry cream pies, but Thanksgiving was my first time having one, so I have many years worth to catch up on.
I told him no excited face this time, so this is what we got.
I like the new not excited face. I just made an apple pie to make up for not making one on pi day. It is so yummy.

ReplyDeleteCherry pies are quite delicious. They also have the added bonus of being quick and easy to whip up. I completely support you in your favoring of cherry pies.
