SIP Week 34: Nov 1-7

Jane having a snack outside.
Riding her bike
and climbing on her brothers.
Doing her sumo baby walk
Being silly with the laundry
and joining in our family movie night.
Bringing a sword on our walk.
Carrying her sword and shield everywhere she went.
Trying to use my blood pressure cuff.
Trying to sit with Jonah during school.
Keeping a bit of distance from her brothers' sword fighting.
Stealing Scott's penguin
and joining him for school.
Closing the blinds
She can't get enough of Jonah...or his laptop.
Beautiful, clear weather called for extra backyard time.
The once empty living room is now full of people (and mess) all the time.
Speaking of mess. Jane really enjoyed her dinner.
More outdoor school.
More ladder climbing antics.
Perry was determined to finish his preschool workbook so he could start the kindergarten one I bought him.
All done! He said to give it to a little kid who doesn't have one. I said it was all filled in, so we could recycle it, but he insisted he only wanted to get rid of it if we could give it to someone else.
Thinking about sharing a snack.
Now that the air is clear, this backyard remodel was worth every cent.
Just snacking it up.
Ready for her ride.
Helping make pie crust for dinner. Or, rather, helping eat the leftover pieces.
She pulled out the cutting boards and cookie sheets and stood on them. I guess we were keeping up on dishes too much for her liking.
She found an airplane! It's the simple toddler joys.
Examining the weed barrier.
Pausing play for a moment to refuel.
And get a wee snuggle from daddy.
Jane dumped all the shoes out, climbed in the basket, and snuggled Scott's penguin in it.
She's a girl on a mission.
When she stops and looks around like this, it's just asking for a picture.
Copying Perry.
Trying to go for a ride on the go-kart.
Getting ready to water the plants.
Her grand entrance.
Trying to steal Scott's chair for movie night.
Her high fives can turn into hitting.
Conked out from a walk.
John picked up a van's worth of mulch.
And we spread it in the backyard.
It's looking very polished with the mulch covering.
