Happy Hollow

We used our new passes while John's company was closed over the holidays. Scott was nervous about the goats at first,
but he warmed up and even patted them. He's usually afraid of animals his size or bigger, so this was very brave for him.
Climbing the walls. Nothing new here.
He was excited about the little cubbies he fit into.
They redid the whole zoo from when I was little and it's amazing. The entire petting zoo area had a better layout and looks comfier for the animals.
Scott thought the goat's nose sticking out was hilarious.
Riding the barrel horse.
Running ahead to the park area.
We went through some of the animal sections and found the old stepping stones. It was definitely more a balance challenge for me than Scott.
We went down the crooked house slide, which is no longer crooked, but is very steep and fast.
The highlight of Scott's day was riding the cars. He played on the playground with John for a while, but then asked for cars again. Since there were so few people, we just kept getting off then back in line and he went on the ride a good four or five times in a row.
Meanwhile, Jonah had a tasty bottle and followed it with a shirt licking.
Love that little sprite.
I'm glad we took advantage of the time off and the warm weather. It was a fun family outing and since we walked a few blocks to avoid paying for parking it was a free day, so we didn't mind leaving after a few hours when we started to get hungry and the boys were tiring out.

  1. That's such a fun park. We'll have to come with you some time this summer.
