We met up with our neighbor at the beach one day.
They have two kids similar aged to Perry and Jane who also need some socializing after a long year at home.
Footie jams are still the best beach outfit.

I would take the kids to the beach more often if it weren't for the sand clean-up.
It was not a particularly hot day, but the kids loved the waves chasing them.
My friend doesn't swim, so she usually keeps her kids out of the water, but since I was there her son could join Perry.
Even Scott got in the water. He typically prefers to play in the sand and stay dry.
It was a great summer kickoff.
