May II

Play hard, crash hard.
My guac lover having some leftover chips and dip for lunch.
Being a bird on our walk.
Climbing up on the counter like she owns the place.
Dancing girl
Snuggle break
I bought some fresh strawberries from a farmer and Perry picked the biggest one. I can't blame him; they were very delicious.
Changing her jammies.
She must dress herself. Even when she struggles, she does not want help.
These feet are the main reason our couch is always dirty.
Stick-ifying the ottoman.
Licking her bowl clean.
She was sitting on the top of the cozy coupe and when I looked at her, she scrambled down. She knows.
Helping us dig up a stump in the backyard.
There's sad and then there's Charlie Brown sad.
John gave Jane a cutie little pony tail.
Giving me a heart attack.
Sassy eyes.
Borrowing my boots.
Getting into mischief.
Crazy hair
Snacking while she helps me make dinner.
Jane walked over to check on the pool with me and was ready to hop in.
We went to a luau at church
Perry found his friend.
Bed hog.
All about the summer foods.
Walking to school
and walking home after school.
She has her bun-bun and mask, she's ready to go.
She found a cup holder in her apron.
Her favorite place to be. Or at least more than the stroller.
She found a tiny Janie house on our walk.
Climbing out of her crib. Time to think about switching it to a toddler bed. Not my favorite development.
The sweetest.
The county libraries opened and we went one morning to get some fresh reading material.
Jane was all about the mischief.
Enjoying their new books.
Sugar-stealing trouble.
Peek a boo in a box
Another tired afternoon.
Jane is the cutest distraction from work.
Using her new library skills to get into the chapstick. Nothing is safe.
Waking up from her nap
all smiles.
Trying out the new pool and we are all fans.
Snack time during the adult swim break.
She likes a little ketchup with her lunch.
Closing the door like a big helper.
We tried in-person church. It's only an hour, but the kids did great.
Jane especially was much better behaved than I expected.
So we had some Sunday sundaes to celebrate.
Creative napping.
All showered after swimming and ready to walk home in her unicorn towel.
