2 Days of Christmas

Our little candy canes on Christmas morning. Scott says they're "yummy and spicy."
The boys gave each other a Duplo set.
Scott was very excited about the Planes puzzles my uncle sent. He wanted to do them right away, which we encouraged. Our day was nice and slow with breaks for play after each gift.
We gave the boys frisbees like the ones their friends had this summer. Jonah found himself somehow stuck in his.
Jonah opened a Minions mini movie and they watched it while we started cooking.
The boys played happily with their new Duplos and then we ate and played some more.
Saturday morning we had a second Christmas. The best present was little Cedric coming to see us!
Despite a very early morning flight, he was happy to open his stocking.
Jonah helping my mom see what was in her stocking. He gets excited for everything everyone opens.
John's sister and brother-in-law sent a new Planes search and find, which Scott had to do right away.
His cheese face.
Then we had to pull all of our search books out and do them, too.
Jonah opening his new doll from my mom.
Snuggling their babies.
John's other baby, a Kreg Jig. He's been dreaming up projects for its maiden voyage.
Taking Hazel for a walk.
We gave Amanda a skip-it and she tried it out with a captive audience.
Jess opening presents.
Amanda gave Jonah these pajamas, which she helped him put on right away. Then he sat in her lap while she opened her gifts.
And fed Fillmore his bottle. In the eye.
Getting Rick to open his princess little people.
Cedric woke up and tasted his shoes.
John burned some boxes and the boys helped "wave" the fire.
Sharing his princesses with his baby cousin.
Rick taking a much needed nap.
Cedric opened a few presents. He loves paper.
Scott built his new Duplo Planes set for the princesses to hang out in.
Scott found a fishing buddy.
Doing a little puzzle together.
I bought an extra pj set so Cedric could match, too.
The boys loved holding Cedric and he liked grabbing their faces.
Scott and Jonah weren't cooperating very well, so I took a picture of just this cutie instead.
It wasn't great lighting, but his smile and pajamas made him look like a little elf.
Getting their picture bribery cookie before heading to bed.
We had a wonderful Christmas. Taking two days and spreading out the fun made it even better.

  1. Beautiful pictures, as always. It's hard to pick which ones to print and put on display for your grandfather. The three boys together are the cutest ever! And the sunlight shining on Scott's search-and-find book makes it look like he's reading some magical, backlit tome. Fun times!
