48 Weeks

 He loves going for walks.

So excited he has to crawl in circles. He does this at church sometimes when he gets pent-up energy.

 He snatched this formula scoop while I was organizing the kitchen cupboards.

He puts it in his mouth like a pipe.

 Going for the fireplace tools. This earns him a minute in time-out. Surprisingly, it only took about 3 times getting in trouble and he's been avoiding them ever since.

 Discovering what he can reach these days.

 Dancing with John to My Fair Lady.

 He found an apple in the diaper bag (for me) and took a bite.

 Another "no" in our house is the toilet. Since we were already working on the fireplace, we just started keeping the door closed to the bathroom.

 Scott was playing with some puffs and figured out how to remove the lid. He poured them out, ate a bunch of them as fast as he could, then started putting them back in the container. He was probably just trying to get me to vacuum again. He loves that thing.

 I stopped folding the kitchen towels. He likes to empty and refill the drawer and it keeps him distracted while I cook.

In action

 Lincoln came over to play one night. He showed Scott how to make the trucks work. Scott's face in this one has no explanation.

 Luckily there are enough vehicles to go around because Scott is still learning how to share.

 He's also learning to feed himself. Most of the rice ended up on his clothes and face, but he loved it.

While we were watching the movie, John gave Scott shoulder rides. When he stops, Scott bounces and eventually whacks John's head to get the ride moving again.
