Apple Saturday

My friend Miranda told us about a tasting store at Martinelli's that's right by Gizdich ranch, so we went to both one Saturday when apple picking was available.
They gave us as many samples as we wanted. The store was empty and they really liked the boys, so they just kept offering them more and more.
I think we tried every fruit and some juices, some plain ciders. It was a lot, and all tasty.
Then we had our picnic lunch and picked some apples.
They're actually more expensive to pick them yourself, so we just took some for the experience, we didn't load up.
The boys each eat an apple just about every day, so they were loving this.
They picked a few perfect apples then we headed to the playground.

Perry drove this tractor full of young ladies

and the older boys played on the hay bales.
I tried to get a picture of them, but this kid wanted to join our family.
We were going to get some pie, but the line was insane so we went home to make one instead.
We love Saturday family outings.
