Cedric Visits

Cedric and his parents flew down to play for the weekend and celebrate Christmas with us.
We went to Christmas in the park, which always seems like a fun family activity to get us in the Christmas spirit, but there really isn't a lot for the kids to actually do.
It was still fun taking the light rail and it wasn't cold at all.
We went to see Coco and had lunch out while Jess went to a Dickens festival, Rick visited my dad, we saw the lights in our neighborhood, and had hot chocolate Jess made.
Another night we were going to go to Bethlehem, a nativity re-enactment, but we were late getting dinner made and decided to stay home and let the boys play instead. My mom in grandson heaven.
Then we gave Cedric his Christmas gifts.
You can see the Duplo creation Rick and Scott made and the Mickey singers that were a favorite with the under-6 crowd.
Jonah gave Cedric his bitty baby doll.
It was love at first sight.
He quickly took over baby responsibilities.
They were so cute playing with their dolls together after that.
We were all sad to see Cedric go. And Rick and Jess, of course.
