Jonah's First Sunday

I inherited this hand-me-down that looks vintage and/or European and was excited to dress Jonah in it before he outgrows it.

This wink face looks familiar

My mom came and stayed with me while John took Scott to church. Scott had an important call to take on his pig puzzle piece phone.

Meanwhile Jonah and I rested.

Then he slept through tummy time.

Scott came home from church looking like a big kid.

John and Jonah reunited.

Jonah was awake for a little while.

Then his bottle knocked him back out. Love that milk face.

It was really hot that afternoon and while we sat around sweating I had John call his aunt and uncle to get invited over to their air conditioning.

They traded a/c  for baby snuggles

Scott went right to their tupperware cupboard, put his snack in a bowl and sat on their Scott-sized chair to eat. 

About a year ago, he couldn't get in and out of the chair on his own.

Alan and Joseph and then Uncle John came over, too, so Jonah met Joseph, Ryan, Hailey, Lizzie, Brian, Annie and John. It was a busy night for a little baby.
