Lazy Labor Day

On Saturday we cleared the debris on the cement in the backyard and started putting together a new shed.
Monday we invited John's parents over for breakfast. Karen wanted to try a new recipe, so they brought food over instead.
Mascarpone stuffed french toast with peaches and heavy cream.
Scott was really upset that he just had bananas.
After eating, Alan helped John with the roof on the shed.
 Then played with Scott.
Scott loves whiskered faces the best. I love his inquisitive eyebrow.
 He also loves shoulder time.
We went to Karen and Alan's to watch a movie and Scott enjoyed the rocking horse Grandma Marva gave them for the grandkids.
Surprisingly, he didn't try to eat it.

It was a nice, laid-back weekend. Except for John. He was leaving for Idaho in the morning, so he finished the shed assembly via headlamp 10:30 at night.
