While we were in Pennsylvania, we went to stay at my Aunt Julie's lake house for a few relaxing days.
We went out in the water on this inflatable party couch that Scott thought was his own personal pool.
No sunburn on that baby's head.
Scott met Sophie, who seemed disinterested in him.
He was a little unsure about her as well.
He loves Wendy, though!
Especially because she feeds him.
My mom gave him this cute sailboat outfit for the trip.
We thwarted Bill's diet with Ida's taco pizza.
I've been telling John about Ida's for a long time and it did not disappoint.
While Scott napped, we went around in the pedal boat.
Poor kid woke up early and was terrified. Bill brought him to us and he was still so sad.
We let him kayak and he settled down.
Just kidding he was docked the whole time.
John tried out the infrared grill to cook filets one day and burgers the next.
We had s'mores one night. Scott really wanted a marshmallow.
With a short nap and staying up late mesmerized by the fire, he slept well that night with his little bum in the air.
Then he met his 18th aunt, Kim.
And his umpteenth (but first on my side) cousin, Ian.
He loved being passed around and having unending attention.
John and I loved having a few laid back days.
John played fetch with Bill's dogs and kayaked.
Then we toured a house for sale on the neighboring property. Tempting, but Ida's is not Target and it has even more fixing upping needs than our house.
The idea frightened Scott, but eating his toy comforted him.
