Hawaii

After a few postponements, we couldn't push our Hawaii trip any more without losing our money/points, so off we went.
Jane helped load the van and was very excited about going on an airplane.
We landed at night and crashed. The next morning, we were up and ready to explore.
Our first stop was the beach.
My mom and Henry have access to this military hotel that's right on the water and much lower priced than the surrounding ones.
Staying on the water is my favorite for sandy clean-up. Warm water and plenty of space. It was perfect.
Jane was antsy to get out and see the island.
We were walking through downtown to get some food and the kids ran around the monkeypod trees at the park.
And finding sticks, of course.
And chasing the poor chickens.
Jonah enjoying the street art.
Perry sharing some shave ice.
Our first of the trip. It was a convenience store-type place, but it was surprisingly good.
John and I shared ours while Jane napped in the stroller.
Some more walking around the city, some lunch
going through more cool walkways that are more like jungles.
Jane woke up and found a fallen flower for her hair.
Back at the hotel we played in the water park.
All of the kids were loving it. Except the little guys were not happy about being too short for the water slides.
We just played in the younger areas.
Where Jane rode a dolphin.
A pretend one, but she was just as happy.
We crashed hard at night.
