August II

My mom sent the kids these coloring cookie sets and they really took their time working on them.
Waging water war on the sliding door.
They don't even realize they still have masks on sometimes.
We had to dress her bunny and then give it a hug because it was so cute.
Ready for her 2 year check-up.
They did not ask about her climbing abilities, but she's definitely not delayed in that area.
Cutie in giant glasses.
After school the boys play together so nicely. They need a little break to miss each other.
On our Belgatos hike, this puppy was really slowing us down.
As did some stick collecting.
But we made it to the top and saw the city view. I love this view, though.
They like to run ahead and play while John and I catch up.
Perry went to a friend's pool birthday party. It was a randomly chilly/windy day, so he just relaxed on the deck with me and played with bubbles, waiting for cupcake time, instead of swimming.
He looks so big and little at the same time on the way to school.
She desperately wants to go, too.
Cool weather romper for dropoff, then hot weather romper at pickup.
He is ready and waiting for us, anxious to get back home.
Giving her baby kisses
and making John do the same.
Perry feeding the puppy her lunch.
Chair stealer.
Sweeties reading books in their room.
Waving to the trash truck man, who we followed around the block.
She was tickling her own tummy with grass while we waited for Perry to get out.
Super hot first day of soccer practice.
Going for a little drive.
Perry always wants a blanket on, even when he's drenched in sweat.
Stinkerdoodle
Her head pops around the corner as she asks, "I can have appo?"
After school snack remnants on the counter.
Movie night snack dinner.
I don't know how he sleeps with this bed stealer.
She is adorable, though.
And goofy. The qtips make her look like Shrek.
The best way to get Jonah to tidy up the play room is to suggest a dance party. He needs his space.
So cute she has to pinch her own cheeks.
Jonah's Star Wars finger puppet creations.
She was cold.
Early morning games on the weekend.
We had a minor cinnamon incident with our French toast.
Jane had her first sickness since babyhood. She was on top of her handwashing.
And drank lots of fluids.
And applied her chest rub constantly.
Having sick babies is my absolute least favorite thing, but Jane handled it very well.
