SIP Week 40: Dec 13-19

She climbed in the stroller and cried, then fell asleep on her walk. We need to show her a better way to tell us she's ready to nap.
Awake and ready to explore.
We got the Mickey and friends Christmas band out and Jane was hesitant, but the boys loved it.
Jane warmed up and was hooked.
Big brother, little brother piggy back ride.
Scott and Jonah made pancakes with some guidance from me.
Jane helped my getting her finger stuck in the maple syrup.
A little rain doesn't stop our light searches.
Such a good helper cleaning the table after lunch.
Perry made John a duplo Christmas tree.
Big helper cleaning up the leaves in the yard.
So serious about her task.
Teamwork. They do a great job cooperating when they have a physical project to do together, especially when I let them organize themselves.
Perry's friend Emma gave him this little bunny and Jane was instantly obsessed.
When there's a fun school activity, everybody wants to watch.
Chewing on jacket strings is the best.
Belly button!
I finally asked John to chop my hair because the dry ends were bugging me and the salons are still closed. He took about 5 inches off and since it's all one length it's heavy and doesn't curl well. Still, it's much healthier and will help until I can get a proper cut.
Almost to the holiday break, when we can have some screen-free time. Or at least fun screen time. The boys have done extremely well having virtual school and the teachers have adapted everything as best they could, but we're still all ready for a break
Miss Proper
Perry lined up her shoes so she could choose a pair.
Shoes on, ready to go for a walk. We told her it wasn't time yet.
She was helping Jonah take out the trash and made a run for it.
Happily scampering down the block.
She got what she wanted in the end.
Another night walk around Willow Glen. We saw all the reindeer lined up in the neighbors' yards.
How many little siblings does one boy need to get his work done?
I brought them in the other room to do some more age-appropriate schoolwork. Jane was very excited to read.
My Aunt Wendy sent cookies, frosting, and sprinkles, so we had a decorating party after school.
Jane figured out that you can just dunk the cookie in the frosting tub, then eat it.
She got herself all ready for bed.
Psych, she'll sleep in our bed.
Her little chewing face
Such a cutie.
She likes to lightly pinch me while she falls asleep.
We went to Sunset Glen Drive and walked up and down the whole, amazing street. It was so festive to see the lights with other excited people out walking or driving and holiday music playing.
Perry loved this big house.
Nothing comforts like chewing on a little Grogu ear.
Whatever works.
Little sunshine in my morning.
She was being particularly mischievous and we had to move the plants to our bedroom.
On Saturday, we went to buy some rocks and packed them up ourselves.
Then we unloaded them and John went back to get a few more bags.
All finished and rinsed off. The last step of our backyard project for now.
Jane is being ever so helpful working on my Christmas gift from John.
