Easily Entertained

This kid has become great at independent play.
Perhaps he's figured out that if he plays quietly I check on him less which gives him ample time to get into things.
One afternoon he pulled off his sock
and chewed on it,
examined it,
tossed it, retrieved it
and started all over again.
There was probably a good half hour of sock play.
Another time a balloon kept him occupied while we cooked, ate, and cleaned up after dinner.
It's really three toys in one if you include the string and weight.
The bottom is a rubber whale and he loves it.
He tried throwing the balloon, but was upset when it went out of reach.
He didn't let go of the string after that.
Who needs real toys?

  1. Not even eight months old and Scott already has good taste in clothes... or else he just likes clothes that taste good!

  2. Scott makes sock play look like so much fun--I kind of want to start playing with MY socks.
