December II

Scott made this drawing of a winter scene in school. He can explain in detail what all of his creations are doing. I love when he gets into something creative.
Someone found a Starbucks cup.
Perry is the most patient Candyland player ever.
Big open floor and giant sectional and bean bag, but they're all on John because screens.
Blowing some leaves to make a jumping pile.
Eventually taking the leaves to the front yard. One of us was less helpful than the rest.
Perry wanted his hair blown dry so it'd be soft and beautiful
like Jane's.
He is my sweetest snuggle bug.
Jane joined us for our 2022 Baking Day to help taste test.
Perry was also a willing participant.
We went back to the zoo and Jane went on the carousel--her first ride. She had a death grip on the pole and looked around the whole time but asked to go again, so I'd say she liked it.
We spotted a peacock.
Amanda came to decorate little gingerbread houses and she always tests before coming inside, so when we came home this was the table scene. Hopefully the last year of this.
Pj reading and snuggle time.
Jane and Amanda Jane.
Two thumbs up for hot chocolate.
Taking advantage of our California weather for some park time.
Admiring her coloring on the inside of the diaper box.
If you were looking for Legos, Target was not the place. All three shelves were emptied.
She loves presents. "I open it?"
Trying out John's glasses.
Thrilled to be matching Perry
The boys were playing with Duplos which is nice because then Jane will play with them, but then they started just making giant weapons.
And Jane found a wand.
Comfy reading position.
Most of our month was holiday activities and then our Arizona trip, but we still had lots of little fun moments together.
