July I

Sweet Perry. I never get tired of pictures of him.
We went to a friend's birthday party playing bocce ball. It was a really fun date night.
Reading books at Grandma's house
Perry being his sweet little self.
Scott helped Grandpa clean up from their Grand Canyon trip.
On the 4th of July we went to a pancake breakfast at church. Scott was looking forward to it because he wanted to match Pookie's birthday breakfast picture. I did my best.
Perry ate Grandma's arm for breakfast.
Then took a nap.
I had babysitting swap time one day while John was inbetween jobs, so we used his birthday gift card to Pacific Catch for lunch. It was great because the menu is less expensive and they're less busy then. The food was great and we'd definitely go back. Perry was also a fan.
That afternoon we went to Happy Hollow to see the goats. Scott was braver about touching them this time.
Scott trying to get Perry to look at the camera.
John took the boys to the weekly summer kids movie one morning while I walked around Santana Row with Perry. I smelled this Asian tapas place and we went back during happy hour for a date one night.
We tried lots of small plates and they were all great. Perry caught up on his sports. We didn't have great service and were definitely out of place there with a baby even though it was early enough to be mostly empty, but I'd go back just for the food.
Raising book-lovers. John does the best voices.
We watched our friends' kids one night and took them to the park by their house. Their two youngest rode in double strollers with our two youngest. 7 out of 8 of them were boys.
I love when Perry finds his thumb.
We went up to visit Katie one day and Jonah found their "squash soap!"
All dressed up for his free chicken dinner.
The older boys just wore spots.
After dinner we had cake for Karen's birthday!
Even superbabies need their rest.
Speaking of rest, Jonah is almost never where we leave him at bedtime.
All stretched out, with his hand behind his head, eating his dinner. That's the life.
Happy guy on a walk.
Happy guy lounging around the house.
Sharing a chair for movie time.
Playing their favorite--apple game. They've gotten to the point where they can play it together without too much assistance from me.
Good morning picture to send daddy at work. He leaves for his new job before most of us are awake.
And a good afternoon one once we were all dressed.
Sweet, tender Jonah loves Baby Perry.
We took Perry on a double date to an A's game. We had a great time, but Perry did not like the cheering and kept waking up, so I'm afraid he's outgrown date nights.
Jonah sneaking his favorite treat--fruit.
Trying to get his headband to stay on. Good luck, buddy.
Perry has grown enough to really bounce himself now and he loves this jumper.
We all love to watch him, so it's really entertainment for the whole family.

  1. Thanks for the Sunday evening pick-me-up! So much fun with your beautiful boys. Did I spy some new décor on the playroom wall?
