Magic Kingdom

Wendy took this family picture at Downtown Disney.
We rode the ferry there and Scott was in heaven.
It was his first boat ride and he loves water.
 We crashed hard.
The next day we went to Magic Kingdom. After the Pirates ride, we saw this shirt:
Jungle cruising. Perhaps if he'd had an edge seat he would have liked it as much as the ferry.
The Haunted Mansion had cool activities while you wait in line.
Scott's favorites being shoulder rides and chewing a water bottle.
The New Fantasyland was mostly all open, so we went on the Little Mermaid storybook ride. The animatronics are amazing. Ariel's hair flows.
Then we went to Gaston's tavern.
They sell pork shanks, but we opted to try LeFou's Brew, which was a delcious frozen apple drink with a mango marshmallow topping. (Apparently it's also Red's Apple Freeze at California Adventure's Cars Land)
There's an interactive attraction where guests can act with Belle.
Scott in his Mickey shirt and shoes.
Scott so nervous for Peter Pan
 Scott found a perfectly-sized door.
Trying to pull the sword from the stone
Trying to eat the sword in the stone.
Trying out an Ewok hat. The cast member working at the Star Wars store tried all the hats on Scott.
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh had a great line with activities for kids to do.
There wasn't much of a line, but we let Scott roam and explore.
He loved crawling after a long day of the stroller and being held.
 The freedom!
It was fun for big kids, too.
We went on the Dumbo ride (there are two now!) late when it was lit up and pretty.
Scott probably scheming a way to get in that water.
Then we left the aunts to their late partying ways and headed back to the hotel for some sleep.
Of course we enjoyed the fireworks show on our walk out.

  1. I love all the posts from your trip. And I'm pretty sure I need that pirate shirt you found, it's too funny! I can't wait to see everyone in a few days!

  2. I laughed at the picture of Scott chewing on the sword in the stone. Its nice to see Becky in a few of the pictures. I was beginning to wonder if she really was at Disney World with John and Scott.
