We dressed as muggles for the 12:02 Harry Potter. It was John's first midnight release EVER!
Waiting in line. We brought our friend Stephen Summers and he gave us a recap of each chapter. He is so brilliant. He puts our fanship to shame.
We met up with my mom. It was an INTENSE movie. Especially around 2 in the morning.
Now we have to read them all again before July 15th! And try to stay awake at work today!
Going to a midnight release is so fun! I can't believe John hasn't done it before. It is hard to stay awake the next day though. Was the movie spectacular?
ReplyDeleteI am happy to know others take HP as seriously as I do. With the newborn, I wasn't willing to do the midnight showing...but I did go Saturday morning. I put E in the moby wrap and rocked her for 2.5 hours and enjoyed the movie in the theaters.
ReplyDeleteI promised to wait and see Harry Potter with Alan. I'm having a hard time being patient. Midnight showings are very exciting. I'm glad you introduced John to this important life experience.
