Lake Tahoe II

John found a nearby loop for us to walk.
It was fairly flat and beautiful everywhere you looked.
Jane was warming up to family.
Perry climbed every rock he possibly could.

Water break
Hills are a great way for kids to get extra energy out while the rest of us watch from the shade.
Sweet cousins
Perry is the king.
Walking off the beaten path/pushing her boundary just slightly.
Kids on a rock.
Ced taking a breather.
Double paci
Mal couldn't keep up without a little nap.
Jane skipped her nap and crashed at dinner.
Amanda brought tie-dye for the kids.
The boys requested another sunset trip to the lake.
Jane agreed.
This time we brought everyone.
And we tried to get a cutie cousin picture.
Explorer Perry.
Then back to the house for s'mores.
With jumbo marshmallows.
The firepit was a great feature at the house.
The next morning we left early to snag a spot at the beach again.
Scott worked on his sand dam while the others swam.
I took Jane to check out the snack situation.
She was loving the walking path.
Running ahead and coming back.
Poor Jess did not get to cool off in the water
Jane and Perry enjoying Scott's work.
John joined the effort and they collected rocks for support.
We discovered soft serve at the restaurant, which Julie could not refuse. We all enjoyed a treat before heading out.
Jane and Mal experienced some peer play, which is new for Jane. She did not handle sharing well.
Some downtime playing Uncle Ricky's video games.
Then homemade pizza and rootbeer for movie night.
A proper nap for Jane.
Trying out their new shirts.
Jane discovered Jess's make-up. Everything is chapstick to her.
The rooms did not have as many beds as advertised, so our kids crashed on our floor. They played so hard all day, I don't think they even noticed.
4th of July was our last day. We saw a local parade and played disc golf again. Jane played in the sprinklers in her firework dress.
We ate and ate and ate so much good food and desserts every day. The week went by so quickly.
It was a great family vacation and we learned a lot to make next time even better.
But first, we'll catch up on some sleep (and let Jess heal her arm).
