July I

Carrying all his post-vacation laundry to his room in one trip.
Copying us picking up after the dogs we were watching.
She's a basic baby.
Kissing lambie.
Sweating in the top bunk.
Bedhead baby.
Wild thing in lopsided pig tails.
She was very upset that her doll's pants didn't fit her.
Ready for her walk with her doll and blanket.
Helping feed the piggy.
Getting into my migraine treatment.
And John's sandals.
We went to the county library since our city ones are still closed. Jane wanted to pull the crate, even when it got very heavy with books.
Scott and Jonah struggled to carry the bagful to the car.
Filling the dishwasher
and feeding the piggy. She just mimics everything she sees us do, for better or worse.
Including getting out of her bed for naps and climbing in the bunk bed.
And watching me get ready in the bathroom while snacking on her puffs.
Sweet boy on our walk home from the pool. My hat was falling out of the wagon and Perry offered to keep it safe for me.
Ice cream cone in her watermelon pjs.
And a very messy lollipop.
Reading her book to me upside down, which I sometimes do for her when I'm across from her.
Movie time. The quietest, calmest time in our house.
Perry relies heavily on these little bead ice packs for any and every ailment he has.
Helped herself to a bite of bagel, then asked me for cream cheese.
We took the kids to church in person, but sat in the foyer and Jane spent the whole time asking for hanitizer.
My friend brought over her daughter's outgrown shoes and Jane was in shoe heaven.
Ready for bed, ie tv time with mom and dad until her brother goes to sleep and it's safe to put her in the same room.
Accessorizing
Making me nervous on her stuffed animal basket perch.
Trying out Jane's sprinkler
With the pool access, we haven't done as much backyard water play this year, but we still like having something the kids can do without us at home.
The yard has continued to be a great investment for our family.
Pancake Perry
Helping an old man out with his sandal buckling
We'll see how long this old wagon can bear this much weight.
And just like that the summer is half over.
