September

She's a fminco.
Conked out
I took Jonah to Wendy's and his "spoon is bigger than the frosty!"
Perry spends some time every day after school on the trampoline. He likes to be outside alone. I wish my decompression needs were met with physical activity.
Jane's first tea party.
She came to work to help me run the desk.
Then needed a lift home.
She tries to keep up with the boys' schedule, but sometimes she can't make it through the day.
We had a crazy heat spell and went out to pizza at a place from my childhood. The kids loved watching sports and eating pizza in the a/c and didn't even mind the long wait.
When we weren't eating out, we were at the pool. So grateful for a close place to cool off and have fun.
Early morning park time before it heats up.
And another crash nap.
When we reduced energy during the heat wave, we got gift cards to places like Cold Stone, which we cashed in on the next hot night. Even the mall, which is usually chilly, was warm.
Jane and I have different taste in clothes sometimes.
Jonah's reminder to himself.
Perry has really taken to soccer this year. He gets in there and plays hard.
A balloon animal and cotton candy at the church party. What else could you want.
A cookie.
The boys heard all about Jane's tea party and wanted in on the snacks.
She's very into her rainbow knee highs.
A little chess before bed.
Duplo creations
A is for Apple day at preschool.
Stole John's glasses
Jane loves her duck pockets. They enticed her to wear corduroy. The pig tails, peter pan collar, and mary janes are too much for me to handle.
She can walk the balance beam at the park, so she's ready for kindergarten.
Queen Elsa at the library
And nap crashed.
Enjoying her bagle on the walk to school
We joined a toddler hiking group
Jane is the most seasoned and least complaining hiker of the bunch.
She used all her energy on our hike and slept on the walk to school pickup.
J time in the hammock.
Playing with her babies at her brother's soccer game gave me Amanda Jane flashbacks.
Jane continues to be more independent than is probably safe.
Rainbow shirt and rainbow overalls.
She's been napping most school days because the boys wake her up in the morning and she plays hard all day.
So happy with her little elephant from preschool.
Sometimes I don't see Jane for a bit and just find her asleep somewhere.
Helping John with some work.
Helping me unload the groceries.
You turn around for half a second and she's climbing something.
Volcano time
Crazy kitten
"How longer am I?"
Reading to herself because the brothers are at school.
She gets bored.
Stealing shade at a soccer game.
She found Alice at John's work party.
The boys were too focused on eating to care about the characters.
Jonah put his skills to use on this game.
We had the party, 2 baseball, and 2 soccer games. A busy Saturday.
Sunday they made apple strings.
And crisp. Jane called the slinky apple piece "a boingy."
Skinny Marinky Dinky Dink
I love you!
Library time is their favorite because they play ABC Mouse
We were reading and snuggling and both fell asleep.

She was crying about not being able to write her name at preschool and when she stopped I looked back to see she'd crashed.
Telling John we needed to get groceries. More milk. And ice cream.
I didn't recall ice cream being on the list, but Jane knows.
