SIP Week 16: June 28-July 4

Keeping us awake so she can learn how to bake.

S'mores time
So happy with his favorite breakfast.
Working hard on growing her teeth.
Wears her right out.
We moved the tv to the wall across from the sectional so we can all sit and watch together.
Ready to play.
We were guinea pig and house sitting for a family with a great backyard.
I did my hair for the first time in ages.
Our firecracker
Doing their Home Depot workshop kit at home.
They can't help but touch her all the time.
We walked over to Home Depot for John to get something and pick up the kits. Since there's a limited number of people allowed inside at a time, it was a long wait.
We played lots of ispy and racing games in the empty side parking lot while we waited for him.
Jonah trying out a bigger bike. It was a struggle, but his smaller one wasn't working for him, either.
Little Janie Sunshine
Our snuggle bug
Scott's droid creation
Perry loves John's homemade bagels. We all do, but he shows his affection the cutest.
Showing off the fort she's pretty sure everyone built for her own particular use.
We had to redesign a bigger one.
Wall-ball with a raquet.
Conked each other out.
I love the bruschetta tub from Trader Joe's and put it on toasted baguette for a heavenly snack, appetizer, dinner, dessert, whatever.
Ready for rain with his next size up of rain boots.
Her smily cry. She looked so cute with a bow pulling her hair out of her face.
She was just cranky because she was tired.
Playing together so sweetly. I love how Jane's kneeling like a big kid.
The cuter the outfit, the dirtier we try to get it.
Reading outside right through lunch.
Our neighbor gave us a bag of plums from her tree and they were gone in minutes. I sent her this thank you picture.
Oh my heart.
What a little doll.
A very busy, loud doll.
We took advantage of the piggie's house and had some water fights.
The harder we play, the better we sleep.
Getting into dishes. She leaves a path of destruction in her wake.
We've been freezing blended fruit in these cool silicone molds and having homemade popsicles.
Jonah walking his bike home.
I love snuggling this cherub.
As much as I'd love for her to talk instead of scream, and maybe sleep through the night once in a while, I love that she's little and don't want her to grow up any more.

Swimming at Uvas

We got reservations to go back to Uvas and it ended up being a hot day.
We were excited and ready with swim suits and sandals.
We hiked a small loop around to the water.
Even the path down was gorgeous and fun.
The big boys were great about helping the little boy, who is very cautious.
Scott was nervous to fall in the creek, but I told them it wasn't a big deal. They were ready to get wet and could even walk in the water if they wanted. Jonah took it to heart.
It wasn't as much exercise, but it was great going at their pace and enjoying the whole walk together.
We need to work on our family selfies.
Finally we reached the waterfall and pond area.
Jane was happy to be free to explore.
Splashing in the water and having snacks.
Got a bit more than she bargained for.
Scott got brave and had a blast.
We were the only ones there for a long time and it was delightful.
Then Jane pooped and we had wipes, but no extra diapers.
So she got a naked ride back to the van.
She helped me wash everything when we got home.
The day tuckered her right out.
It was a much needed break.
