Perry Turns Two

Scott and Jonah were so excited for Perry's birthday. They wrapped up their gift for him and impatiently waited.
Amanda came over and made Mickey cookies with him.
His favorite part.
Then he opened presents.
My aunt sent his favorite book (he likes to yell MINE! along with the story) and Amanda read it. Several times I'm sure.
She gave him band-aids, which I let him use at his own discretion. They were gone in one day.
He loves "nan-nays."
Cookie time! He had a hard time blowing the candle out and got a little close to the flame, but eventually figured it out. Jonah said he's two now, so he's a little boy, not a baby.
Perry is still our little joy and we all smother him. Wherever we go he says thank you and bye bye to everyone and older people especially love him. The crossing guards on the way to school said they look forward to seeing him every day. He loves Mickey Mouse ("mou"), minions, yoda, and R2D2 ("dee-doo"). He forced potty training about a month before his birthday and made a lot of progress. He switches between wanting to do things himself as a big boy and being babied. He likes to buckle himself in the car, sit at the table, dress himself including his shoes, jump on the trampoline, and walk everywhere instead of using the cart or stroller. On the other hand, he wants a bottle with water to go to bed, prefers to sleep with someone, and loves being carried when he feels like it. Karen and Alan gave him a scooter for his birthday and he insists on using it, but he's slower than walking. He copies everything his brothers do, for better or worse. We love seeing him figure things out and communicate better, but we also want him to stay little forever.
At his 2 year check-up, Perry weighed 27 lbs 6.4 ounces (43rd percentile), was 33 inches tall (22nd percentile) and had a 19.75 inch head circumference (86th percentile).
His height went from 20th percentile at 6 months, to 77th at 1, and back down to 22nd at 2. I'm not sure how accurate those measurements are because that seems odd.
