Gilroy Gardens

My friend Lauren invited us to use their buddy pass at Gilroy Gardens with them. We picked up a few extra boys for good measure on the way out. Poor Neville wanted to join us.
Scott was afraid of the water slides, but he bravely tried the little one and loved it. After going several times, he went on the big ones and never looked back. I was so proud of him.
Perry was too short for the slides, but he found ways to entertain himself.
Aidan stayed with Jonah the whole time which was really helpful, since he and Perry can't swim yet. Even with life guards, knowing he had a teenage buddy with him let me follow Perry around. He and Q took a snack break then went right back in the water.
Perry crashed on the train and napped in the stroller while we went on the other big kid rides.
We may need to get passes next year when I feel more capable of taking them by myself because we had a great time.

Ice Cream Factory

I missed the Color Factory when it came to San Francisco, so I set an alarm when the next batch of Ice Cream Factory tickets would be released and snagged two for a Saturday.
John and I go on regular dates, so it's fun to do something new or unique once in a while.

We sampled several types of ice cream, but only one flavor of regular ice cream. I thought we'd get a scoop as we left, but no dice. I was honestly a little surprised how little you got overall
for the price, although what they had was fun and it was worth going once.
I think the sprinkle pool was John's favorite part. He dove right in. Literally.
We'll be finding sprinkles for years.

Intuitive Family Day

John's work had a party at their park one Saturday. The boys played in the jump houses
 and mini paddle boats.
It was an especially hot day, so we had lots of water, cold fruit,
and ice cream to help.
The big boys went down a huge water slide that they were both afraid to try. Scott went first and was unsure about it, but wanted to go again.
Then Jonah went for it. We were proud of them for doing such a scary thing. Being soaking wet helped them stay cool, so we were jealous.
The carnival theme was fun, with the candy table being Perry's favorite.
 He loves "ah-ee-pops."
I love that John's job has events we can attend with him. We had a fun family day.
