Perry's First Haircut

Our little baby had scraggly hair. July 13th I finally convinced myself to give it a trim.
It was especially long over his eyes. He got called a girl a lot, which didn't bother me, but it was looking unkempt.
I love the light, fluffy baby hair. So fine and soft.
I was afraid he'd look like a kid instead of my baby with a proper haircut.
I only trimmed a little and tried to just make it even and still long.
The front is tricky with stick-straight hair, but it turned out well.
If you put him in jammies and give him a bottle you can still pretend he's a baby.

Alameda County Fair

There was a dollar entrance day at the fair in July so Katie met me there that afternoon.
Scott was tall enough to go on a big kid ride with Lucas.
\
It was a little scary for me to see him up like that, but he loved it.
They were not little kid friendly, even in the little kid area. Perry couldn't go on anything, which also made it tricky to take the older kids on rides. He found this minion while waiting for his brothers.
Scott and I went on this roller coaster together. He looks hot and sweaty because it was a million degrees out, no shade, and asphalt.
Jonah picked a ride for us to go on.
After spending about $12 on water because we drank all of our bottles and the water fountains were at the entrance, maybe a half mile away, we ended back at the pigs.
It was less crowded, grassy, and shaded. Plus piglets! We watched them race then went to meet the stars.
I'm super grateful Katie met me there because we couldn't have done anything without her. I'm not planning on going back until the kids are older and it's like 20* cooler out.
