Janie girl loves staying up late with us.
Taking her baby doll for a stroll.
When Scott's not in school, he's usually reading and asking us what the air quality is so he can go outside.
How many people can we fit in this chair?
She loves wrapping clothes around her and started biting this to be silly.
Reading with John is the best
Making pancake shapes
Scott loves making pancakes. It's actually helpful, unlike some of our other kitchen help.
Getting into the parchment paper. She was mad it was stuck.
Helped herself to some applesauce.
Caught in the act--her face looks like a little doll.
Lounging in her brothers' room.
Playing with a book.
Ging for a walk.
Indoor dance parties to get our wiggles out.
Preschool music class. He's shaking his tail for a squirrel song.
Borrowing Scott's chair for a little reading. She always goes for the Mickey Duplo instruction book.
Trouble with a capital T.
I got her a baby swing for the backyard, but we couldn't go outside yet, so John tried it inside.
Scavenging.
If you leave it behind, she will take care of it.
Jane exploring the new backyard. We're planning to put mulch down, but in the meantime she got very dirty
A rare morning of clearish air, so we sent the kids outside early.
We all soaked it up as much as we could before the wind changed.
We discovered that Jane loves pesto.
What have we here, anything good?
We have a hard time putting her in bed when she falls asleep.
Trying to distract her with baby puzzles
so Perry and I can do a preschooler one.
Mischief again.
She loves kicking the soccer ball.
Going from my bed to end table. Probably saw her pacifier.
Crashed on the floor
Her favorite toy outside--a shovel.
Digging in the dirt.
Actually going down the slide.
Post-ponytail hair.
I checked the air first thing every morning and one day it was clear, so I told Scott and Jonah they could go outside (they were the only ones up so far). Nothing like playing soccer at 7am.
She's not so sure.
Getting braver.
A little too brave for my liking.
Reading outside.
They did their schoolwork and played and rested. Just soaked in the outdoor time.
John put the swing up. Jane loved it.
It's the only place we can leave her where she's happy, but can't get into trouble.
Everybody wanted a turn pushing her.
She got used to the fake grass quickly and doesn't mind it barefoot.
Asking John to stop working and take her outside some more.
She prefers John, but she'll take me in a pinch.
She doesn't let fear stop her from reaching her goals.
A peaceful moment.
She took clothes out of my drawers and wrapped my swim shirt on herself.
Ready for me to take her jogging I guess.
John started taking Jane to the couch some nights when she wakes up because I don't sleep well with her on me or tossing and turning between us. One morning, Perry was out there, too. He just made himself a little nest on the floor without us knowing.
Her baby hair is curling up at the bottoms. It's so sweet.
Kind of like her brother in overalls.
Pirate farmer Perry.
Practicing his reading. We've been really trying to learn letters and sounds this month.
Jane mimicking.
She pulled laundry out of the hamper and snuggled it to sleep.
She had a cut on her finger, but did not like having a band-aid on it.
She did like helping herself to my lunch.
All of it.
Our little sunshine.
The kids have had blankets out a lot for forts lately.
Class time in bed.
More Mickey Duplo reading.
And writing in my planner.
I'm sure she has a lot to add to my schedule.
