John's Birthday

We weren't in Tahoe for John's birthday like we we planning, and the concert tickets I gave him will be waiting another year to be used, but we did have carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.

We went for a whole family bike ride.

Jane played a little in some grass.

We rode over to an empty parking lot where we could let the kids go around freely.

And presents. The boys couldn't wait to give him everything they made and helped wrap.

Jane was as surprised as John was at the gift she gave him--a grill brush.

We love John and were happy to celebrate him a little extra.
