Jane had music class on Valentine's day.
The teacher gave them each a heart balloon.
Jane's popped, but she had an extra.
It was true love.
Then we played on the playground.
and met John for lunch at 5 Guys, which is as close to a date as it gets sometimes.
We did our traditional family dinner, made paper hearts and wrote things we love about each other on them.
Then when the kids were in bed, John and I played an Exit game.
I love celebrating holidays together, no matter how small and simple.
