Jane didn't know what we meant by her birthday, but she was ready to open the gifts she'd been impatiently watch pile up.
She got right to work ripping them open.
Hugging her Kirsten doll. She was so sweet briefly loving on each gift before casting them aside to rip the next thing open.
Her brothers were just as excited about her presents
especially if it looked like something they might enjoy, like this sprinkler.
She is obsessed with bubbles, so we outsourced the bubbling with this pineapple machine.
It was a big hit.
Our friends gave her their dollhouse when they moved and we saved it for her birthday.
The boys took a turn when she was napping.
Then she had her favorite snack--peaches.
And we went to her party at her favorite place--the pool.
She was in her element.

She seemed to enjoy her entire day and we enjoy her every day.
At 2 years old, Jane is 27 pounds (51st percentile), 33.5 inches tall (39th percentile), and 19.25" head circumference (82nd percentile).
