Our little Janie sunshine has gotten too old, too fast.
She can walk now. She babbles, jumps, plays, and eats like a big kid. She tries to copy us getting dressed, putting things away, making h sounds to cool off her food, and blowing raspberries. She is very busy all the time and gets into mischief any chance she gets. She's also very vocal about her needs and wants.
But she recovers quickly, especially if there's cheese, her pacifier or bottle, going outside, or a bath involved.
Jane is still a terrible sleeper, but we look past it because she's so cute and entertaining.
At her one year check-up, it was Jane's first time in a building besides our house since March.
She has filled in nicely. She weighs 21 lbs 12 oz (77th percentile), is 29" tall (39th percentile) and her head is 18.6" (95th percentile). Her height is fairly consistent on the chart, but her weight has jumped. We weren't surprised at all because she's been eating much better on real foods than milk.
She did not like my mask. Or her shots or blood draw. She had a little snack waiting for the doctor.
Who she also wasn't sure about. The mask and face shield and stethoscope and probably just being around another adult besides her parents.
But she was her brave and strong self and got through it just fine.We love our chunky girl.
