February

Perry wanted me to get him a snack. "Me can't reach it, look."
We went to the boys' school family dance, which was pirate and pixie themed. They loved their balloon swords.
 Perry had a relaxing jog.
The pediatrician's new office has a fun cubby hole in the waiting room where the boys played and read books until Scott's check up.
 Jonah's noodle art.
Ever resourceful, Perry brings this step stool with him everywhere.
We were having a cookies and milk in a blanket fort kind of rainy day.
Scott made cute penguin valentines for his classmates.
We did a family activity on Valentine's Day where we wrote things we loved about each person on a heart they cut out and they had to guess who said which one.

I was so impressed with Perry's cutting skill! Karen was in town to watch Katie's kids, so she joined us for our dinner which made it extra special.
We went up another afternoon to have a little more Grandma time, and play with cousins. Perry must've given her 20 hugs.
I made my new favorite snack for her to try--bruschetta with sauce from Trader Joe's.
We went to Miss Bonnie's for cookie day and Perry was so pleased his friend was there to play with.
 His face cracks me up.
Jonah's class had a favorite person day and he picked his daddy, of course. He said he likes playing baseball with him, jumping on the trampoline together, reading books, and driving in his Tesla.
Perry joined them on the floor and they were as sweet as can be.
I finally got Perry to wear his jacket and boots to school dropoff. I said he could only use an umbrella if he did, otherwise he had to sit in the stroller.
I asked Perry why he was licking the cart and he said he was thirsty. Hopefully that rain washed away all the germs.
Jonah's ready for 80's day at school. Scott didn't want to participate.
 Perry loves balloons.
 And the park.
He was really, really excited for cantaloupe.
I was excited he wore some pants instead of leggings or joggers. I think little jeans are so cute.
He asked for oatmeal for breakfast and I wasn't fast enough, so he got out the measuring cup and is getting the water. Sometimes he's more independent than his older brothers.
We went to Happy Hollow one day over spring break. Perry likes to sit on the bench usually, but he braved an animal seat on the carousel this time.
Sometimes I wonder why we trek over there when the boys just want to play on the playground.
We had a few dry days and spent most of Saturday getting yard work caught up. I rewarded our strong helpers with a donut.
We also started an open gymnastics play class at the YMCA.
It's a half hour of unstructured exploring time. They love being able to run around freely indoors.
They love their umbrellas so much, but can't seem to walk as fast to school with them. It wouldn't seem like multitasking, but it's terribly distracting for them. We just have to leave a little early on wet days.
I also started taking Perry to a preschool play group at the Y. He doesn't want me to leave, but he warms up and loves playing there.
All tuckered out on the way home.
