Jane helped me make crepes for Jonah's birthday dinner. She tried to fit a whole crepe in her mouth at once before I noticed.
Jonah liked the dinner
but said he mostly chose crepes for the dessert.
Then we went to Golfland for some family mini golf.
The kids did so much better than the previous time. We weren't rushed, which helped, but they stayed together and cheered each other on.
In the end, Jonah got a hole in one for a free round!
Jane did a little golfing, a lot of exploring.
Amanda came down after work with this Minecraft creation.
The little piggie was too cute and of course tnt, their favorite.
Jonah got some jackets from us because he had a habit of losing his last year. Now he's all set for the schoolyear.
We also got him some Rubik's cubes of various sizes because he enjoyed his 3x3 but it was a cheapy one and hard to maneuver.
His favorite gift was "one point two million dollars" from my aunt. She sent him a box of hundred grand candy bars.
The Lego from Grandma and Grandpa was a big hit, too.
Pooh and Piglet wrestling Amanda.
Jonah is a silly and smart kid who is fun to be around and keeps us on our toes.
At 9 years old, he is around 4' 3" and 65 pounds.
His favorite food is haystacks and dessert crepes. He loves video games, especially Minecraft, Mario games, and Breath of the Wild, and board games like Villainous.
His favorite music is Hamilton, he likes Phineas and Ferb and Bad Batch.
He loves reading and can't hear anyone while his book is open. He's very into graphic novels and comic books. He is looking forward to playing baseball and soccer in the fall because he's very social and needs lots of physical exercise every day.
