While John's parents were in town, we wanted to do something fun for the day, so I bought tickets to the Lego discovery center, which we hadn't tried out yet.
There were some fun hands-on activities and lego creations.
The 3d shows were a big hit as well.
The boys did a creation lab with Grandma.
Jane was too young, so we explored the lego bay area. They were incredible. Jane liked the golden gate bridge and I liked the warriors stadium.
There was a big play structure that entertained them for a while, but by far the highlight for them was the laser escape room.
We rode a blaster ride a few times before calling it a day.
We got Jamba Juice with my mom, who opted to enjoy the mall while we played.
Then the kids posed for a picture with the giant giraffe before heading home.
It was a fun outing for all of us, close by, good variety of activities, and not very busy.
