For weeks, every morning Perry would tell me, "Daddy go work, Dott Nonah go school, Mommy Perry go choo choo." We counted down until Martin Luther King, Jr. day when we could take the celebration train up to the city.
The boys pretended to be asleep in the dark tunnels. I love when kids are creative and silly, especially with their siblings.
It was a beautiful day in San Francisco. We walked down to the pier for lunch at Gott's.
Then we played at this cool park.
Perry slipped in the netting and hit his eye on one of the metal clasps, but they all loved playing and running free.
We used the gift card Amanda gave us for Christmas to take the boys to Bi-Rite for ice cream. They got their own, which is their favorite thing.
Then on the muni back to the train, Perry crashed sitting up. Which was when I noticed the puffy red scrape on his eyelid. Poor tired little guy.
He napped most of the ride back home, but still loved the train ride. It was a fun family day.
