Star Wars and Christmas jammies? Yes, please.
Perry loves his poopin kitty.
Dragging his jacket home. Heaven forbid he actually wear it.
My mom came to stay with us while she recovers from foot surgery. The boys love having a constant book reader available.
Wearing boots instead of his usual crocs. He seemed to love them and jumped in puddles, but wouldn't put them on again.
Getting the keys to the van. It's a miracle he hasn't broken his neck.
Scott and Jonah made some Christmas cards for the cousins that we had for Christmas this year.
John and I celebrated our 9th anniversary. We went to see the new Fantastic Beasts movie and had creme brulee when we got home. Having my mom here every night is handy because once the boys are in bed we can go out.
I came home from volunteering at school and my mom said Perry had gotten upset and left the play room and she couldn't follow him. I went to find him and he had put himself to bed.
We took the boys to see the Nutcracker at Temple Hill.
Perry was restless for a large portion of it, but Jonah was good and Scott seemed to enjoy it. Amanda and her friends met us there and we went to Fenton's together afterward for ice cream.
Perry set the table. He loves everyone to have a matching set of dishes.
Such a sad boy channeling his inner Charlie Brown.
Cinnamon rolls for Miss Bonnie's Christmas cookie day earned a thumbs up from Perry.
Perry wanted to eat his burrito and watch their show, so Scott suggested they sit on the edge of the play room and do both. Scott and Jonah both asked for a burrito as an after school snack. Growing kids.
Scott's class performed It's a Workshop Life for their families. We had just seen the school's production of Annie the week before, so Scott was familiar with Hard Knock Life and it was really cute.
Perry keeping close watch on my mom during the day. He goes in when she wakes up every morning to get her medicine and water and they like to have a snack and watch some Mickey or Snoopy while I go to the gym or run errands. He's going to really miss her when she goes back to work.
Perry came over to me with big eyes and handed me this tuft of hair. He was holding scissors and I think he cut his hair accidentally, but I couldn't really tell where.
My mom got a salon gift card from one of her students, so we took her to get a manicure and shopped around Los Gatos while we waited. Jonah "found this cute little shirt. Look how little and cute it is!"
We were running around at the park and Jonah loved standing under this tree. He asked me to take his picture, but wanted it with his brothers.
You can't really see them, but it was a sweet request so we obliged. Then we walked over and picked up my mom. It was a surprisingly fun afternoon, not what I would expect shopping with three little kids by myself.
Pajama day at school. Perry and I joined in since we matched.
I found Perry's self-cut Alfalfa hairdo. It could've definitely been worse.
I went to Jonah's class to make a gingerbread house, then helped do winter crafts in Scott's class. It was an early day, so pretty much the entire school day was parties.
The next day Amanda came down and we did some baking. Scott is very into cooking and baking now and likes figuring out the measurements.
Jonah likes being a sous chef and taste tester.
Perry unwrapped the rolos and put them on pretzels for the turtles, but not before lining them up by color.
Licking the bowl
Dressed up for church on Sunday. Each of their personalities show clearly in this one picture.
Discovered sticking out his tongue. He's also into making raspberry noises that get spit everywhere, which we're working on stopping, so we'll take sticking out his tongue.
John made an appointment for us to visit his work and try the surgery robot over the school break. It was really cool and surprisingly easy. I tied a string in a knot and even Scott could manipulate the sponge we were playing with.
Perry got these magformers for Christmas and Scott and Jonah love them. They're very creative and it's a nice break from Legos.
John and I spent New Year's Eve watching Infinity War and I caught up the blog for the year so we can start fresh in 2019. We did have sparkling cider and managed to stay up past midnight, so it was a real party.
