Perry got to meet Uncle Bill and Maya. She is the sweetest with babies.
My grandpa loved Perry. He's not really aware of what's going on, but he perked up to talk to the baby.
Julie came up to see him.
And entertained him with an m&m shaker.
Perry was whining most of the evening, I think because he wanted our food. It's unusual for him to be so discontent, but teething and traveling probably didn't help. He chewed a kitkat to help.
Wendy took us to her new house the next day before heading to the airport. She had some cute new outfits for Perry. I could tell he was missing the entertainment his brothers provide, but he loved all the attention.
The weekend flew by so quickly. The first, short flight had extra seats and we got one because there were no extra oxygen masks in our aisle for Perry to use.
It was nice to have extra space for at least one of us to sprawl out.
The second leg Perry napped for a few hours. Both of us caught up on lots of missed sleep from the previous few days.
Then I entertained him with a touch screen. American's planes are so nice now--tv screens, reclining chairs that actually recline, outlets. If I didn't have a baby to keep happy I could've really relaxed and enjoyed the trip back.
We made it home safe and sound to some happy boys who missed us. It was a great first trip for Perry. Next time we'll bring everyone, though, so we can stay a little longer.
