Saturday morning our neighbors/friends in the ward dropped of this beauty. They're temporarily moving out of the area and we're babysitting to help it avoid the storage center.
Then we ran to Costco to get things for Joseph's homecoming luncheon and then picked my mom up from the airport. We headed to the city after that and missed the park and picnic, but were right on time for Ghirardelli sundaes.
Karen was in the car with a sleeping Connor and Scott was sleeping in his stroller right next to us.
Ryan and Katie had to leave to get Lucas home for his nap and the rest of the family went down Lombard Street while we went in search of the Disney Family Museum. We found an overlook in the Presidio with a map of the area.
Of course I had to get some pictures.
It was really windy and Scott was making the funniest faces.
The next two are my favorites.
Seriously cracks me up every time.
He tried his best to open his eyes and smile, but the sun and wind were too much for him.
Since the museum is only 3 years old it wasn't on the map, but John found the main post and there were signs from there.
The museum was open late that night and we got AAA discounts so they were half off! They don't allow pictures, but it was really cool to see the development of animation and the Disney brothers' story.
We bought this beautiful bedtime storybook for Scott from their gift shop.
He seems mesmerized by the full-page color pictures and of course loves hanging out with his dad.
The museum and the book helped build our already high excitement level for our Disney World trip.
Wait--Disney World? As in, Orlando? If so, and if you guys have time, Ricky and I would love to see you. Maybe we could watch Scott while you two go to the temple or something. :)
ReplyDeleteI love all of Scott's faces in the wind.
