We took the little bean in for his newborn club appointment and since his bilirubin had gone up he had to get another blood test. It was up to 12 and and his weight had gone down to 6 pounds 6 ounces.
They recommended supplementing with formula to help pork him up and fend off jaundice.
He downed that 2 ounce bottle in no time. Poor kid had been starving.
All was well once he got some daddy time in.
Love those frog legs.
Here you can see that no amount of supplementing satiates his appetite.
OH, we know how the jaundice and hungry baby thing goes. Thank goodness for formula!

ReplyDeleteHe looks so tiny perched on John's shoulder--and yet somehow he still thinks that he could eat John right up. Such an ambitious baby!
