43 + 44 Weeks

Christmas pictures are the majority of Scott's next 2 weeks.
John and I bought Scott this outfit for Christmas, but he opened it early because he outgrew all of his other church clothes.
Getting a shoulder rub/tickle.
Sticking his tongue out is a current favorite. His 8th tooth broke through on the 23rd and he's been licking that area ever since.
John spent some of his time off from work building a closet for the water heater.
Scott liked to sit in his highchair and snack while watching John work, but he still blinks with every hammer hit.
Scott supervising John while he changes Amanda's brake pads.
Keeping a close eye on John while he vacuums.
 Getting his hair cleaned.
 Helping reach under the couch.
 Taking a closer look
Snatching John's hat. Pay back for the hair sucking, I presume.
They've had some busy and productive times together.

HMB Tide Pools

John's parents rented a beach house in Half Moon Bay so that the family could all be together for Christmas.
We took advantage of a beautiful afternoon and took the kids to the tide pools around the corner while their parents were at Alcatraz.
The sun came out and it was windy, but warm. Perfect Christmas weather.
Sweet Connor was all smiles and then fell asleep in the stroller on the walk home.
Madoc and Lucas enjoyed throwing rocks in the water
Dallin searched all over to find the right rocks to throw.
 Running from the waves.
We had the beach to ourselves.
John showing the kids the dead crab he found.
Sadie loved collecting shells, but this one was a little too big to bring home.
 So much to explore.
Our other pictures are on Alan's camera, so this is it for beach house pictures for now. We had a really fun time visiting with everyone.

41 + 42 Weeks

The majority of Scott's week 41 we spent in Disney World, but I have a few straggler pictures. When we came home it was chilly compared to Florida, so Scott bundled up for our nighttime walk.
John gave Scott this granola bar to play with while we made dinner and he opened it.
My friend Katie had just told me she didn't know I was a granola mom.
Scott spent a significant portion of week 42 chewing things.
He loves to chew Duplo blocks.
 Santa baby
John wore his Santa hat to volunteer at the Giving Tree and Scott wanted to match.
Examining his exit path up the chimney.
We had my primary class over for a end-of-year pizza party. I'm going to miss these kids. Particularly the sweet girls.
Scott thinks it's hilarious to try to bite us. We say "no" and he laughs and laughs.
Saturday night he kept us up on and off all night, then Sunday morning he had two more teeth broken through his gums.
Scott was pretty whiny at times and John bounced him to sleep on his knees.
He's still a happy baby almost all of the time.
He and John have lots of fun playing around.

Hollywood Studios

The last day of our trip. Scott's face cracks me up.
We had his Mickey ears embroidered with his name.
He liked meeting Mike and Sulley. It seemed the fluffier the character, the better.
John tried out the new Star Tours four times. Then he and Scott hopped on a speeder bike.
Scott smiled and squealed, making people stop to see what the baby noise was all about. We're not sure what exactly he was so happy about, but John claims he knew instinctively it was from Star Wars.
Group shot with the aunts and sleeping boy.
The coolest part of Hollywood studios was the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights.
Complete with snow.
Mesmerized all around.
There are millions of lights and they set them to Christmas songs. It is so cool.
It was a great way to end a really fun trip. Thanks to my aunts for helping with Scott so John and I could go on big kid rides.
See you real soon, Disney!

Family Christmas Pictures

It just wouldn't be a holiday without a trip to the JCPenney portrait studio.
Scott was smiley for the entire session.
 He climbed up the presents
 and crawled toward the camera.
I think all of his turned out great.
The lady taking the pictures loved Scott and said he was the easiest baby she's photographed.
I said he's had lots of practice.
We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
