47 Weeks

My newest favorites:
Playing with Grandma and Darth Vader
Scott is getting practice with finger foods. He usually has a little of whatever we're eating at meals now, too.
Travel-sized lotion bottles are also a favorite these days. I love his face here.

He dumped his train box out every day until the box died. Now he pulls out the basket with the train toys in it and loves breaking apart the track when we put it together.
Scott slept through the night in his crib one night last week. He hasn't been needing bottles at night (and therefore a fresh diaper) but he still wants to come in bed with us. He tends to hog my side of the bed and I always get the bottom half on him.
 Helping me open the mail
I knew he was chewing on the potato bag, but didn't realize he'd gotten through to the potato. I scraped little pieces out of his mouth and he looked at it then tried to lunge for it with his mouth like I was feeding it to him on my fingers.
He's been really energetic and happy. When he's up late or whining we'll start to get annoyed, but then he'll scrunch his nose, crawl in a circle, growl, or some other cute thing that we can't help but laugh about.
 Amanda teaching him high fives.
Karen and Alan are coming to stay with us for a while, so Rocky is back in the yard. Scott loves it.
What more does a boy need than a light saber and a dog?
Another pastime of Scott's is emptying things. My primary bag in the hallway is a go-to of his. He likes putting things back in, too, but gets easily distracted.
He's been talking a lot more, but stops for the camera. One day we were in the car waiting for John at work and I caught some babbles in the mirror without him knowing.
The sunlight really messed with this video, but you can still sense his enthusiasm for spoons.
It's the little things in life.

46 Weeks

Scott figured out how to stand for a few seconds at a time.
He doesn't like it for one second.
My sister gave Scott this bowtie and sexy cardi for Christmas. She didn't know there was a difference between barettes and bowties hahaha. Luckily I just snapped it onto his collar and it stayed put.
After Sunday morning pictures the camera battery died. The charger has been mia since Disney World, so I tried my phone. Scott is outgrowing all of his jams, so I bought him these "Christmas" ones on sale, but they're just solid grey and red. I love how he looks baby again in them.
Scott rubs his hand like he's milking a cow until the piece of food gets to the top, then he eats it.
 Sharing Duplos with dad.
 Check out that tummy.
At night he gets excited, hyper and hilarious. He cracks us up until waaaaay past his bedtime.
 So excited!
He'll be smiley and laughing, crawling in circles like a madman until he finally crashes.
His new favorite toy is small bottles of lotion.
All bundled up while John and I took the Christmas lights down.
I kept tucking his blanket until his legs disappeared. I have no idea how he's sitting under there, but he's warm!
We've had a major cold spell here. Like down to the 30's at night. (say a little prayer for us)

45 Weeks

Scott likes Ricky.
More specifically, Scott likes Ricky's ipad.
Scott also likes nakey time, so this morning was a dream come true for him.
Group shot before Rick and Jess headed out.
Scott likes forehead knocking Jessica.
After so much family fun, he slept like a log. In our bed, of course. He hasn't slept through the night in his crib all month. Little stinker.
Playing with Duplos.
He'll sit and play with them for several minutes on his own and likes to crawl around with one in each hand. He's also started offering toys, but more to be polite than to actually share.

Lounging in his rocker watching the Monorail and reliving his first vacation memories.
He makes this blank face on the swings, which leads me to believe he isn't enjoying himself, but he cries when I take him out, so who knows.
Wagon walk with his fellow hat-lover. Lincoln traded their hats on the way home and the beanie on his noggin cracks me up.
Scott was very curious about his first wagon experience and Lincoln just sat and watched him explore like he was a crazy kid. You may be on to something, Linc.

10 Months

Scott and the Bubba cow have become friends over the months.
He flashes this great smile when I ask him to look at the camera.
 Really cheesing it up.
Unfortunately, he wore his smiles out and didn't want more pictures on the glider.
He wanted to get down.
 Begging for help.
Once he was down he started growling.
Close enough!

Scott's First Christmas

John and I spent Christmas Eve with a stomach virus and were not feeling great on Christmas. Luckily, Scott didn't catch it and enjoyed his day with our families.
2012 Family Christmas Picture (not showered)
We drove back up to Moss Beach Christmas morning to open presents with John's side of the family. These are Alan's pictures.
I had to include this one because I love the Cheerio placement.
Then we headed back to our house to open gifts with my side of the family.
Scott's favorite part of presents was the wrapping paper, of course.
Rick and Jess came out from Minnesota for Christmas.
Crunchies were Jessica's favorite present. Best candy ever.
My dad gave Scott this soccer ball with a rattle.
He and Amanda had a fun time with it. After lots of cousin time I think he enjoyed the one on eight attention, too.
Our present to Scott was a kid trampoline. As you can tell by the glee on his face, he was happily surprised despite us assembling it in front of him days before.
 He loves chewing the styrofoam.
 and the grip bar.
Occasionally he stops chewing to actually bounce.
In retrospect we should have had Christmas a day later when we were better, because every member of my family ended up sick. But it was nice having them there to hold and play with Scott while John and I were out of it. Next year we'll try not to be so giving!
