San Francisco

Ashley and Kevin invited us up to the City for dinner. We went early and rode our bikes around for a little while.

We crossed the Golden Gate Bridge.

It was windy, of course, but surprisingly sunny. Such a gorgeous day.

Then we went along the coast on this path

and hiked down to the water.

(where we saw people swimming sans suits and went right back up)

The stairs were never ending

but the view was nice!

Rockin Out

My mom, sister, and the Harlines came over to try out John's famous potato soup. Then we played Band Hero.

Turns out Karyn's a natural.

John had to have a sandwich because the food was taking too long to cook.

John Makes Everything Better

I spent my morning cleaning out this:

My dad thought it'd be easier for my mom to move out if he put everything in the garage. Fun times. Then I went to work, which was harder than usual and I had to stay late. But I came home to this:

John got Avatar from the Red Box and made an incredibly delicious potato soup. Someone raised him right. We spent the rest of the night eating and watching the movie.

And, of course, Bubs was here. He also enjoys having John around.

Crepes and More Sharks

We had a crepe-making marathon. My mom came over last night and my sister came over at lunch to help us eat them.

John made a "crepe creation" with the extra batter.

(Also, I really love this shirt on him.)

Then we went to Mark's to watch the second playoff game vs. Chicago. Unfortunately, we lost. Fortunately, we had some delicious red velvet cupcakes.

I have a bicycle...

And a Bubba. It was a beautiful day out, so we took him for a little ride.

John got me this basket for when I ride my bike to Safeway. Bubba actually really enjoyed it. Okay, maybe that's exaggerating, but he didn't meow or try to jump out!

We cashed in our Walmart gift cards from our wedding on these little beauties. Love them.

Back to Work!

His six week sentence is up, and John's back in business. He's a little thinner than when they last saw him at AOptix, but he makes up for it in enthusiasm. I'm going to miss our Mario Kart mornings together.

Natural Bridges

This morning we went to Santa Cruz. I'm not sure why it's called Natural Bridges because there's only one bridge, and even that looks like it hasn't been an actual bridge for some time. Regardless, we went and it was nice.

It was overcast and cold, but not raining...

One More Wedding

It was slightly sunnier than our wedding day, so we took another picture of ourselves.

My new dress! John's mom got it for me to wear at Sarah's wedding and I love it so much, I don't want to pass any opportunity to wear it. Don't worry about my purple wedding dress being left out, I'll just be using this one for the spring/summer weddings, and he'll be back come fall.

One of our Blank families was also there: Annie, Brian, Lizzie, Hailey and Ryan.
